Dear Friends,

It is amazing that the Foundation is seven years old and it felt to us like a good time to stop and formally take stock, first to look back and then forwards. That’s why it has taken me longer than usual to send you this update. I hope this message meets you and all yours very well.

Looking back

We were encouraged by what we saw behind us. Together with you, we are: 

  • Matching children and young people in the UK to professionals through the annual career fete. Since we started the fete in 2016, more than 60 children and young people have been matched with professionals featuring over 25 careers options. 
  • Supporting talented UK scholars. One scholar is currently being supported through performing arts education, two TAF UK scholars have graduated from UK universities and another is a successful professional footballer.
  • Supporting 20 International TAF scholars through full-time secondary education. 

The credit for touching and changing these lives belong to you as much as to us.
